Any return to the history files reveals to us an important fact that these interests date back to the late nineteenth century. In 1889, the American government decided to appoint a consul in Baghdad. Since that time, Iraq occupies an advanced position in the American strategy, so that it is considered in the American political documents a key country and an important key country of the keys to the Middle East. On April 9, 2003, the Americans and their British and other allies achieved the occupation of Iraq and the dismantling of its army, security, administrative, and social institutions. This research is an attempt to clarify Iraq’s position in contemporary American strategy from the late nineteenth century, through the years of the First and Second World Wars and beyond until the beginning of the first years of the twenty-first century. 1813-46102420051201The attitude of the Republic of Russian Federation towards the NATO enlargementموقف جمهوریة روسیا الانحادیة من توسیع حلف شمال الاطلسی25423852510.33899/regs.2005.38525ARأحمد باسلالبیاتیکلیة العلوم السیاسیة/ جامعة الموصلJournal Article20050101The collapse of the Soviet Union and the dissolution of the Warsaw Pact led to the creation of the unipolar system and American hegemony. This is evident through the importance that countries attach to issues that affect them directly or indirectly and which constitute the main arenas of their foreign political movement.Turkey, like the United States and other countries, has its main regional arenas within the constituent environment of its geographical borders, and the interactions that take place in it within the framework of international relations, especially those that involve regional indications and indicators that can affect and affect Turkish national interests.
